Iran has it

From the cradle of civilisation comes some pretty rad art.
It’s fresh but obvious influences of western culture are clearly visible. I personally like some of tag work in the video as well as Rainy Day for The Son by A1one – a stencil of a boy with umbrella standing underneath a dripping speech cloud of his mum. Many works feel very politically motivated where some simply express the need of beauty in urban environment.
Although I’m trying to avoid feeling like patronising this scene feels like something I did’t expect to see. Here in the West all hear in the news about current affairs in Iran and often have certain set of mind. I very much hope this is the beginning of something good.
I hope you enjoy those images. More info at www.kolahstudio.com
