Surfers Healing – The Bowery Project – 2014

2014 will mark the 7th Healing Foundation. Up for auction will be a number of unique and one-of-a-kind surfboards by acclaimed artists, fashion designers and world-renowned surfers.

In addition to the exhibition and auction held in conjunction with The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel, a second exhibition will be presented at the Patagonia Surf Shop on The Bowery in New York City. This unique collection is known as “The Bowery Project”.

JUSTKIDS X SANTURCE ES LEY

After unveiling two murals last month in London with Alexis Diaz and Fintan Magee, the JUSTKIDS Collective (run by Charlotte Dutoit) is now in Puerto Rico with Cyrcle and Madsteez, Bicicleta Sem Freio and Seth where they curated the international lineup of Santurce es Ley 5, the most important urban art festival in Puerto Rico.

UPDATED – Alexis Diaz, Master of the Mixture

Mere hours after hopping off a London-bound flight from Montreal, Puerto Rican animal-splicing artist Alexis Diaz got talking to VNA’s Jodie about how things are looking for his rapidly expanding career. Having made a splash in London’s Shoreditch area last year with his iconic Octophant, Alexis let us in on his upcoming plans for his current return visit and gave us an update on how things are shaping up in the street art scene of his home country.
