One of the most passionate, articulate and important individuals ever to grace an art form Saber needs very little introduction, his intricate and giant style find form in everything from pure abstraction to confrontational political action. Whilst the glory days of record breaking pieces may be behind him, he retains an honesty whose clarity is a cutting as ever. Fluorescent Smogg present… COSMOGG

Notorious British artist Sickboy, alongside forward thinking collective, Fluorescent Smogg, has developed an old mechanics yard into a temporary gallery over the course of 6 months. Starting life as his personal studio, he has transformed the space into an immersive installation, featuring an all-star cast of artists.

Arms have been twisted and strings have been pulled all over the world to bring together some of the finest contemporary artists, each with their own unique style and skill-set.

The show will be an independently produced and all-enveloping alternate universe, running over the course of 10 days, with a carefully curated roster of events, timed print releases and originals available throughout the course of the showcase.

Limited editions dropping through to the week include an iridescent foil screen-print, ceramic pipes and enamel pin sets, super-limited micro-edition prints and some other surprises from Sickboy along the way, as well as an artist-curated outdoor cinema.

Saber – The Ugly American

US Artist, Saber, has created a new collection; The Ugly American.
In this showcase, he mixes spray paint, oils and charcoal to convey the all-encompassing power of America. With 22 years as a graffiti artist under his belt, with this latest body of work, Saber shows his crossover

“My gallery works have to be a beautiful painting. I want an average person who knows nothing about graffiti to say, ‘This is a beautiful painting’. That’s the most important thing to me.”

The show runs from the 10th Jan – 15th Feb at The Outsiders Gallery, London.
