JonOne’s “The Fall” print release

jonone1

Legendary American graffiti artist JonOne aka Jon156, just released his latest limited edition print through PrintThemAll.com. NY-born and Harlem raised artist currently living in Paris, produced this lithograph in Idem Studio, using their infamous Marinoni Machines press.

The artist who was born as John Andrew Perello in ’63, spent his early days tagging his name around Harlem and making ground work for what is now known the world of graffiti and street art. Since his first solo show in 1990 in Berlin, the founder of 156 All Starz Crew had a chance to present his art all over the globe. Appreciative of this journey and the opportunities given, this particular work is sort of a “homage to challenges of life and the process of growing”. Representing the colorful flowers growing from the ashes in the concrete ghettos of New York city, “The Fall” symbolizes the rise and evolution of his work. The lithograph is produced on a hand cut 270g BFK Rives paper measuring 70 cm x 83 cm (27,56 x 32,68 inches), and each of the 199 signed, numbered and stamped pieces was produced using 27 colors.

Seth – “In My Head” Lithograph

IMG_8768

Paris-based art agency AgenceSixPM will be releasing a new lithograph by French artist Seth on March 30th, produced @ legendary Idem Studio. Based on his image previous painted outdoor in China and indoor in Lyon, “In My Head” is a classic Seth image inspired by the world of children.

Depicting the back of the head of a young boy, the image shows a colorful portal inside kid’s mind. Representing their playful (rainbow colors), and unrestricted imagination (blue skies), the piece is somewhat more minimal, sharper and more focused than Seth’s usual works. The whole concept is accented with juxtaposition against the grim grey foreground that the subject is facing, symbolizing the real world around. Hand signed and numbered 15 colors lithograph will be available from March 30th and will be released in an edition of 125 pieces measuring 103,5 x 71 cm (40.75 x 27.95 inches).

Maya Hayuk releases her 1st lithograph “False Flag”

maya_hayuk01

Interesting news are arriving form Paris where Maya Hayuk recently approved and signed her new upcoming limited edition. Created in collaboration with PrintThemAll.com @ Idem Studio, this massive print is her 1st ever lithograph release and it will be available at random time on 4th of June via PrintThemAll website.

“TRUE FLAG is my first Lithograph printed in Paris in May 2015. Each color is hand-painted on mylar and burned to aluminum then printed on gorgeous, hand-ripped paper. There were no computers used to make this print – it’s truly an analogue artwork.
For the print itself, i wanted to experiment with the litho process, which i was not very familiar with. Under the guidance of Print Them All and Idem, i was able to work through several ideas before arriving on this image. it’s ultimately directly related to my screen prints, but with all of the magic that Lithography has to offer and inspired by this incredible Print Studio i had the honor to be able to work in.
TRUE FLAG is a tapestry of intersecting and overlaid colors, as if all flags were woven into one. The name “True Flag” is the opposite of “False Flag” – a covert military operation designed to deceive in such a way that the military action appears to be carried out by entities other than those who actually planned and executed them.” – Maya Hayuk

“egariM is my first lithograph, depicting one of the latest scene from my work, which catches an instant of the shifting moment. The performers standing in the realm of impermanence. By looking at each individual character, one can catch the emotions such as hope and fear for their existence. This is also causing the mirage on the story – a cargo ship capsizing in the wave. If we observe this very moment by seeing the whole picture, we may detect the illusion built up by those lines and particles is only created from one character, who is holding the sentiments inside ones mind. Through working with Print Them All and the Idem Paris, I am honored and humbled to have this great opportunity transforming this original piece into lithograph. I deem this is one of the best prints that I have made so far.” – DALeast

Tilt – “Norma Jeane” new limited edition lithograph

tilt1

On 28th of April, PrintThemAll studio will be releasing “Norma Jeane”, a new limited edition lithograph by Tilt. Three years since the Marilyn screenprint was released and sold out via PicturesOnWalls, French artist is releasing a reinvented version of the image based on one of the iconic pop art portraits.

This time, Tilt’s image is worn out, weathered and aged, giving the raw, street feel to the whole piece. Also, the more authentic feel of the image is further emphasized by the title “Norma Jeane” which is less popular, real name of one of the most popular actress of all time.

Ludo is releasing a new print

ludo0

One month after closing his London solo show, Ludo is releasing a new lithograph edition with Print Them All studio in Paris. Marking the end of the big project Chaos Theory that featured travels to Asia, Caribbean and all around Europe, as well as the successful show @ Lazarides, “344” will be available on Thursday, 11th of December.
The image for this fine art edition produced at Idem Studio in Paris, is first introduced in St Marteen back in August, showing a large butterfly with gun for a body. This creation is artist’s vision of the human influence on nature like most of his mutilated half mechanical animals and insects he’s been creating. The contrast between the fragility of the butterfly and lethalness of a gun is Ludo’s witty comment on the strength of the chaos theory and butterfly effect. The image was further elaborated for his show through a series of smaller canvases, and the one used for the print is fully hand drawn.
This lithograph is gonna be released in an edition of 99, and we’re told that some hand finished copies might be available at some point in the future.
