KARTEL is the brainchild of a local crew who have been pushing out Haifa’s young cultural scene for the past decade. Located next to the port in the city’s regenerating Downtown area, Kartel, a former industrial hangar, opened in mid August with Broken Fingaz’ Sex Picnic exhibition, followed by Klone ‘Second Nature’ at the last opening.

New Land (we need new land)

Tel Aviv artist Klone’s new solo show opens next week at Urban Spree Gallery in Berlin. Klone’s new body of works for the exhibition consists of watercolors on paper, collage works and ink drawings. The exhibition will also host Klone’s largest and most ambitious paper installation to date.
They will also be releasing a limited edition screen print on paper in collaboration with Mother Drucker’s print studio, hand-pulled at the Urban Spree Ateliers, as well as Klone’s new book!
