Today the team behind OFF LIFE and One Thing I Know launches Yellow – an exciting project that will see 52 artists illustrate a whole year of news over the course of 52 weeks.
The idea is that artists can bring a different angle than written journalism, and by giving 52 separate artists a single week of news to illustrate, we can begin to chronicle and analyse a whole year from 52 unique perspectives.
Curated by Melbourne’s Sean Morris, Gold Blood, Magic Weirdos is a group show, highlighting 25 internationally recognised artists. Or as Sean has put it ‘world builders.’ These artists are seen to be divided by their unique styles and visions but united by the honesty and humanity found in their work. Damian Wardle grills Sean Morris for his take on the latest installment.

September 12th sees the opening of a new show from artist and illustrator Jean Jullien.
La Plage builds upon Jullien’s recent London exhibitions at Kemistry Gallery and Pick Me Up, which explore human interaction and social behaviours. The work in La Plage will draw inspiration from British seaside postcards from the early twentieth century; there will be a series of limited edition prints, bespoke framed by Beach. There will also be a very limited edition release of a product, designed by Jean and produced by Beach, that will be available on a first-come first-served basis.
For a catalogue of available works please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0203 5656557.
