KASSO+SMOGG presents Spring Affair

As its 6-month residency in Bristol’s historic Stock Exchange district draws to a close, progressive pop-up gallery and concept store KASSO+SMOGG invite you to celebrate the Spring Equinox with a microcosm of happenings over the course of 7 gradually lengthening days.
In keeping with the spring theme of renewal, each day will see a new mix of work from a stellar line-up of artists alongside featured products from the archives, including works from long-since sold out editions.

Featured artists will include:

Mr. Jago, Mudwig, Anna Marrow, Vinnie Nylon, Lucy McLauchlan, Sickboy, Paris, Russell Maurice, Matt Eko, Anna Higgie, Penfold, plus more guests TBA.

Spring Affair opens with a preview reception on March 22nd from 6 – 9:30pm at 34 St. Nicholas St. Bristol BS1 1TG and will continue through March 29th from 10am – 5pm, at which point the space will stay true to its mantra and ‘disappear here’.

Fluorescent Smogg present… COSMOGG

Notorious British artist Sickboy, alongside forward thinking collective, Fluorescent Smogg, has developed an old mechanics yard into a temporary gallery over the course of 6 months. Starting life as his personal studio, he has transformed the space into an immersive installation, featuring an all-star cast of artists.

Arms have been twisted and strings have been pulled all over the world to bring together some of the finest contemporary artists, each with their own unique style and skill-set.

The show will be an independently produced and all-enveloping alternate universe, running over the course of 10 days, with a carefully curated roster of events, timed print releases and originals available throughout the course of the showcase.

Limited editions dropping through to the week include an iridescent foil screen-print, ceramic pipes and enamel pin sets, super-limited micro-edition prints and some other surprises from Sickboy along the way, as well as an artist-curated outdoor cinema.

Max Rippon x Fluorescent Smogg – Wooden Sculptures

Artist Max Rippon is releasing these amazing sets of hand layered, burnt plywood sculptures.

Each is finished with sign painters enamel. Entitled ‘Surreal / So Real’ there is a regular edition of 20 – priced at £395 – and a special edition of 5 including limited edition hand-embellished packaging and a circular screen print – priced at £595.
