Dale Grimshaw ‘Moreish’

Dale Grimshaw’s solo show ‘Moreish’ opens tomorrow night at Signal Gallery. This new show focuses on Grimshaw’s concern for the ever growing problem of excess in our modern society.

‘It’s a case of enough is never enough. The ‘haves’ want more and the ‘have nots’ can pay for it. Once we get that acquisitive taste, we just want more and more’.

Check out this video of him at work in his studio and some images of what you can expect to see at the show, which runs until 23rd November.

Street Artists Try Out Liquitex

A couple of weeks ago paint brand Liquitex invited a whole bunch of artists from a range of disciplines, including street art, to come and try out their new ‘Liquitex Professional Spray Paint’. The Graffiti Kings, Dale Grimshaw and Dan Kitchener were among some of the artists to try out the new product which ‘combines artist grade pigments with revolutionary water-based technology… offers color brilliance, lightfastness and durability in a unique low odor formulation.’

Check out the video below to see the results; you’ve still got time to head down and peep at the works created on the day at Griffin Gallery, the Studio Building, 21 Evesham Street as they will be on display until 12th September.
