Analogue/Digital have just announced three international presenters for The Design Conference in Brisbane, May 2016

Herrick Gallery is proud to present HUMBLE & EPIC, an exhibition featuring new artwork by London-based filmmaker Ben Gregor, opening on the 2nd December. HUMBLE & EPIC is a tribute to the steadfastness of inspiration, love and friendship in a fractured and passing world of modern love.

Using 65 maple wood skateboards as his canvas, Gregor has laser etched each board with the names of his closest friends, family and heroes. Solid, three dimensional and practical, each board is meaningful and unique. Each board’s individuality is reflected also in the unique markings and patterns of the maple wood.

Brandalism – Black Friday Ad Takeover – Paris COP21

Over 600 artworks critiquing the corporate takeover of the COP21 climate talks were installed in advertising spaces across Paris last night – ahead of the United Nations summit beginning this Monday.

Amidst the French state of emergency banning all public gatherings following the terrorist attacks on 13 November in Paris, the Brandalism project has worked with Parisians to insert unauthorised artworks across the city that aim to highlight the links between advertising, consumerism, fossil fuel dependency and climate change.
