The Hepatitis C Trust’s Art on a Postcard is back for its second year at Moniker with postcards and customised car bonnets. The Postcard Lottery was a huge hit at last year’s Moniker Art Fair and sold out before the end. The lottery gives visitors the chance to own an original artwork by one of the many world renowned artists involved. Wacom and Just Another Agency are teaming up to bring a one of a kind event to Melbourne, exhibiting and launching Wacom’s first publication, featuring a range of digital artists’ work from across the globe. The exhibition and publication will showcase the winners of the ’The Next Level’ competition alongside five elite artists, whose designs are created using various Wacom tools.
The show will feature works from: Alex Lehours, Alex Solis, Ben Brown, Bec Winnel, and Dirty Bandits and will run from September 5-18, 2016 at No Vacancy Federation Square.

To celebrate Chasing Ghosts’ ‘That One Shot’ competition opening this Friday in conjunction with their ‘Uppercup’ exhibition, we have conducted some quick Q&A with a few of the artists contributing artists.
First up, SHIZ.
Moniker Art Fair returns for its sixth year, on October 15–18 at the Old Truman Brewery, having firmly established itself as London’s premiere event for contemporary art with its roots embedded in urban culture.
Building on the foundations of five years experience and it’s continued success, Moniker Art Fair will be again venue-sharing with London’s leading artist-led fair, The Other Art Fair, in what will be a showcase of independent and established talent all under one roof in East London’s iconic Old Truman Brewery.
Over the last few years the Australian street art scene has exploded with amazing work from local and international talent. This in turn has inspired hundreds of photographers to find creative ways to capture the evolution the Australian streets. In 2014 Chasinghosts are calling on the photographers of Melbourne and Sydney to submit their favourite single shot as part of “That One Shot” Australia’s first street art photography award.
In this years competition, Photographers from Melbourne and Sydney will go head to head to see who can claim the 2014 title!!

Very Nearly Almost Magazine launches the VNA 28 Limited Edition, featuring a screenprinted box set from Rebel8’s head clothing designer, Mike Giant. The regular cover features an iconic shot of Giant by Melbourne-based photographer, Nicole Reed.
Today the team behind OFF LIFE and One Thing I Know launches Yellow – an exciting project that will see 52 artists illustrate a whole year of news over the course of 52 weeks.
The idea is that artists can bring a different angle than written journalism, and by giving 52 separate artists a single week of news to illustrate, we can begin to chronicle and analyse a whole year from 52 unique perspectives.
Stack are having a Christmas cover challenge! Draw them a Christmas magazine cover and you could win £150 cash in time for this year’s Christmas shopping.
Stack are asking you to create a Christmas cover for your favourite Stack magazine. You could go for a subtle twist on a real cover they produced this year, or you could let your imagination run wild with an orgy of Santas and snowmen – the choice is yours.
They will pick our favourite cover and will print it full size on the December envelopes. The winning artist will also receive a free year’s subscription to Stack, plus a £150 cash prize to help take care of their Christmas shopping.
Interested? Here are the rules…
1. The magazine you choose must be in the current Stack line up.
2. Your artwork must include the magazine’s logo.
3. You can only use one colour – black. You can use pens, Illustrator, or any other tools you want, as long as we can print it in black on our envelopes.
4. Your design should work to the aspect ratio of the magazine you choose, and will be printed at approximately 300mm tall.
5. Your artwork should be emailed to us as a high resolution flattened jpeg by 12pm GMT on Thursday 20th November. The winner will be announced and the artwork sent to print on Friday 21st.
