Polish artist Michał SEPE Wręga recently painted a new wall in an abandoned spot in south Poland announcing his upcoming solo show “Selfie in the Circus”.  After last year’s individual exhibition at the Lawrence Alkin Gallery in London, this exhibition will be held at the Zurich-based gallery Soon.

The new mural is showing a circle of characters pointing at each other with one single person in the middle of this quiet circle. Through clever use of light and limited color palette as well as expressive brush strokes, the artist achieved a tensed atmosphere with this piece. The similar idea follows the canvas works Sepe created for the show as a continuation of his sweet-bitter journey across our fascinating, though increasingly more absurd, grotesque, shoddy, hysterically flamboyant world.
