As we previously informed, Valentine’s day week was once again reserved for the biggest street art festival in the Pacific – POW! WOW! Hawaii 2016. As every year, the event turned Honolulu into world capital of mural making along with tons of side events. Hosting a huge roster of artist from all around Hawaii and around the globe, POW! WOW! once again produced a series of fresh and diverse murals through the Kaka’ako district in Oahu.
From Felipe Pantone’s futuristic looking visual distortions, Audrey Kawasaki’s first outdoor (header image), large size mural, Usugrow or Defer calligraphy based works, Borondo’s expressive piece, Slinkachu miniature beauties, Bicicleta Sem Freio’s colorful explosion or Ekundayo and Andrew Hem’s effective collab, to numerous graffiti based pieces, the 6th edition of the festival was once again a big success.
