Swiss winery FinBec recently introduced the first part of their annual MyFinBec project that combines wine making and urban art. For the 4th consecutive year they are commissioning artists to create artworks to be used on labels of their fine organic wine, and the first artist on this year’s roster is Bezt from Etam cru.
Polish muralists already participated in the event last year with 2 large works, and Bezt was the first one to create works for their new concept in 2015. This year the artists are painting canvas works as images that will be used on bottle labels along with producing a number of sketches on wood. These are available for purchase through MyFinBec official website and are coming with 2 bottles of this year’s wine, but also, will be on view and available @ Moniker art fair from October 15–18 at the Old Truman Brewery in London, as well as on shows that are planned through Europe at later date. After all the sketches are released, MyFinBec will introduce their next participating artists and the rumor is it’s another art duo, or part of it, that we’ll be seeing new and exclusive works from.
