German artist 1010 paints multi-coloured, three-dimensional pieces on the sides of buildings and structures. When viewed from the street his artworks gain an illusionary quality, with layers folding back to appear as holes in solid concrete.
Recently, the Parisian Galerie Itinerrance invited 1010 to create a huge piece on the currently under construction 13th district interchange, which when viewed from above creates a truly startling image.
The massive 4500 m2 piece required over 400 litres of paint to finish, and was created in just 5 days. See some more snaps below.
