Robert Proch is returning to Paris with another solo exhibition showing for one week only @ Openspace gallery. From May 23rd Polish artist will be showing “545 Days”, his second solo show with the gallery.
After the success of “Turn the Corner” almost 2 years ago, Proch is back with his probably most important show to date. On a personal level the exhibition marks the period between the birth of his first child and the opening of the show (545 days). Career wise, this large exhibition will include forty works on canvas and paper, that will be displayed in 600 m2 space of the Bastille Design Center. With this body of work the artist is continuing his works that are balancing halfway between abstraction and figuration, using warmer colors and harmonious compositions showing personal moments from his new family life. His seemingly unfinished visual language that is based on deconstruction and defragmentation, is pushing the observer to create his own story and complete the image with his own vision. Along with the show, the gallery will be releasing a limited edition lithograph that the artist recently produced with Print Them All studio.
