Spanish artist Pejac just shared a witty acrylic on glass drawing he created as a tribute to Philippe Petit, commemorating the 40th anniversary of his legendary high-wire walk between the Twin Towers of the World Trade Center in New York City.
With this strong little creation Pejac showed his unique imaginativeness, the power of his minimalist style, as well as ability to include most unusual, often temporary or intangible elements into his work. Done with acrylic on a glass window, this simple drawing is showing a silhouette of a man walking on an airplane contrail, but it’s not the first work of such kind by the artist. Petit’s venture was perpetuated in a British documentary film Man on Wire back in 2008. (Photos by Silvia Guinovart Pujol)
