The Kurema, Kureba, Kwiga initiative is about Creating, Seeing, and Learning, with the idea of creating a platform that works with the arts to inspire social change. They are extending the invite to all to join them by creating a mural, or other work of visual art, inspired by a theme of ‘Positive Living’ to help share positive-living messages world-wide.
More jump off after the jump off…
This new project follows on from their previous work in Rwanda, creating public art to raise awareness & inspire more dialogue about ‘Positive Living’ while addressing HIV & AIDS related stigma.
Kurema, Kureba, Kwiga joins partners with Colour Ikamva, by inviting other artists to create murals that reflect the theme of “Positive Living” in cities and towns around the globe. Once completed, all works will be featured in an online exhibition curated by Colour Ikamva.
Please share this and invite your friends, partners, and colleagues who may be interested in joining an already stellar line-up of artists, including:
Chistiaan Conradie (Cape Town)
Know Hope (Tel Aviv)
