This weekend sees a huge double-ender from infamous artists, Gold Peg and Rowdy, link up East and West UK with innovative visual festivals.
More jump off after the jump off
Back on his native West-Country soil in Bristol, Rowdy has put together a community-based event set amongst the allotments of St. Werburghs. Featuring workshops from master screen-printer, Bug, dinosaur drawing from Andy Council and the one and only Dagger Brothers headlining, complemented by some of the best DJs in the business, spinning actual vinyl. Interior and exterior walls will be adorned by members of the legendary Burning Candy crew, as well as new sculptural work from Ryder and Filthy Luker. The exhibition runs daily throughout September.
Meanwhile, in London, Goldpeg has been collaborating with local youth groups in Elephant & Castle to create a series of Ren & Stimpy style pedal go-karts. These amazing vehicles will be paraded and raced at THE GRAND PRIX EXPO on Saturday 1st of September at the Heygate Estate in South London.
