It's a Skewville Fairytale

The twin boys Ad and Droo from Skewville must have had quite an imagination growing up. The new, Playground Tactics, opening this Saturday January 14th at White Walls highlights the quirky and fun inner workings of the Skewville childhood. The show encompasses a large variety of work from older metal license plate shoes to new paintings done with acrylic on wood panel. The installation includes a basketball hoop, a hopscotch, a roundabout, benches, fences, shopping cart chairs, and lots of other goodies that take us all back to the day. The sculptural works are faces made out of vintage radios, TVs, and game controllers, and the paintings are all the Skewville boys gaming their way to the cityscapes that influence them today.
