It seems that more and more councils are coming round to the reality that often street art can help to regenerate and brighten up an area, and the latest council to do so is Brent in London.
Near Wembley stadium stands a 175M wall owned by a local waste management company, Seneca, who have championed the concept of using a variety of recycled waste materials combined with a group of street artists in order to transform the wall.
They are inviting street artists to submit their interpretations of a world where ‘waste is always a valuable resource’ for a chance to recreate it on the actual wall over a few weekends in November. To submit your work and find out more details please visit Seneca Wall.
A great project overall and something we definitely look forward to seeing the outcome of!
