I had to perform a swift double-take this morning when I saw this in the paper…my initial reaction being ‘wow Invader’s rushed that one’…only to realise it was the work of a Canadian ‘collective’, cubeworks. Collective of what, I’m not entirely sure.
According to their site, they offer a ‘unqiue twist’ on icons and artworks using Rubik’s cubes. I guess their dictionary is different to mine because it’s hardly unique, which could be forgiveable if wasn’t so poorly executed. Yet somehow the Guardian picked up on it. Oh deary me.
