This years Meeting of Styles graffiti event happened over the weeekend at Highbury Studios off Holloway road. As I have said before, im not a massive fan of graffiti jams, it usualy all feels a bit “urban” and you get all sorts turning up to gawk at these “aerosol artists” that the Evening Standard tells you are cutting edge. Plus I get really bored quickly and after a while I just want to get boozed up to entertain myself.
The nice thing about MOS is that its pretty vast and you can just walk around and by the time you have got back to where you started things on that wall have changed, instead of staring at 20 people painting a massive wall for 8 hours. Anyway, I didnt stay til the end because Arsenal had won 6-0 and I wanted to get down the pub, but from what I saw the standard was very high. The DMV crew were doing some amazing shit and stood out as the wall to watch in my opinion.
Some more flicks from the event after the jump…
MOS has set up a Flickr group for the event over HERE so go check it out. Well done to all involved. Good times.
