Any good ideas?

Design comp…

RELEASE1.0 is an international design competition launching in June 2008 in partnership with Arts & Business, looking for designers who think they can conceive a fresh, new product for the museum or gallery shop with a little more panache and ingenuity than “The Ubiquitous Coffee Mug”, and who aren’t afraid of a challenge.

A highly-esteemed jury from the retail, design and publishing elite will select winners in three categories and the products will be sold online at culturelabel.com and offline at institutional partners such as New Museum New York, Deutsche Guggenheim in Berlin and Design Museum in London. This competition gives you the opportunity to make your mark in culture.

The three winners from three price categories will also get free product development and revenue share on sales. Any idea submitted as part of the competition will retain full ownership of the idea because the competition also functions as an IP registration (that’s assuming it really is your idea, but then you wouldn’t try to fleece us, would you?)

Well museums and Galleries do sell alot of shit.
